Begins: "Tomorrow will be the annual day of Pentecost, and I will be in Stockton tomorrow..." Morning:- Sermonette by Chris Hancock - "The Trinitarian Spirit" (given Bristol UK Pcost 31 May 2009) (1.7Mb)

The Trinity is a doctrine that the churches of this world claim no one can understand, but they also claim no one can be saved without believing! However, the bible shows a very different picture.
- Sermon by Ian Henderson - "Counting Fifty in 31 AD" (given Bristol UK Pcost 31 May 2009) (12.1Mb)
download stream
This sermon puts together the various things that took place in the 50 days between the crucifixion and the Day of Pentecost in 31AD. As can be clearly seen, throughout, Truth has to be revealed -- and was only revealed as and when God decided, and specifically to whom He decides.
- Sermonette by Ian Munro - "Offering" (given Bristol UK Pcost 31 May 2009) (1.4Mb)

The Work of the Church may have changed focus somewhat, but the Gospel of the Kingdom continues to be made available and the financial means God uses to accomplish this humanly remains the same -- including His command to give offerings in three distinct seasons. One of these seasons is Pentecost.
- Offering Music by Henderson Trio - "Ps 46 - God our Refuge and our Strength" (sung Bristol UK Pcost 31 May 2009) (0.3Mb)

This sermon follows on from the message in the morning to a great degree. After the Church began on Pentecost 31AD, God began training His Firstfruits -- a select group of teachers for the World Tomorrow. But the core question is, "What is God now training us to teach?"
Pentecost: (8 June 2008)
- UK Morning:
- Sermonette by Chris Hancock - "The Key of Zeal" (given Bristol UK Pentecost AM 8 June 2008) (1.3Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
Christ made the comment that, "the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force"(Matt 11:12) But what does it mean? The answer lies in the degree of zeal we need for the things of God.
- Sermon by Ian Henderson - "The Effect of Light" (given Bristol UK Pentecost AM 8 June 2008) (13.6Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
This day of Pentecost is unique when compared to other Holy Days, in that instead of being on a particular date, it is on a particular day of the week -- the first day -- the day on which God re-created light on the earth. This also has much to teach us spiritually.
- UK Afternoon:
- Sermonette by Ian Munro - "Offering" (given Bristol UK Pentecost PM 8 June 2008) (1.3Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
From what is seen in the news today, the time left for this age of man appears short. When giving an offering we need to recognise this and the true value of the spiritual material on our websites. Such material places the events into their proper context for those with the eyes to see.
- Offering Music sung by Paula Henderson - "Ps 128 - Blessed be a Man Fearing the Eternal" (sung Bristol UK Pentecost PM 8 June 2008) (0.4Mb)

- Sermon by Jon Bowles - "The Meaning of Firstfruits" (given Bristol UK Pentecost AM 8 June 2008) (12.8Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
The Day of Firstfruits, or Pentecost reminds us just how great is the difference between this present age and the age to come. So God's firstfruits must reflect God's Way, from God's Spirit, not the present way in the earth. The sermon examines: Creation of angels; What God is doing; Firstfruits shows this is not the only day of salvation; Two ways of life; Producing fruit; The firstfruit's purpose.

Pentecost UK Morning:
- Sermonette by Chris Hancock - "Why Were You Selected?" (given Bristol UK Pcost 27 May 2007) (2.0Mb)

rm download mp3 download stream - Sermon by Ian Henderson - "What The Holy Spirit Does" (given Bristol UK Pcost 27 May 2007) (13.7Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
God's Holy Spirit is an incredible power. But when we examine within scripture the breadth and number of areas in which it is involved, this power becomes truly astounding. Each of us needs to particularly appreciate this and allow it to work in our lives.
Pentecost UK Afternoon:
- Sermonette by Andrew Munro - "Two Very Different Offerings" (given Bristol UK Pcost 27 May 2007) (1.7Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
When we contrast the account of the golden calf in ancient Israel with the account of the first Pentecost of the True Church, there are many things to learn. Though both were called "festivals" in scripture, and offerings appear to have been involved, the attitudes displayed could not have been further from each other.

Pentecost 2006: Morning:
- Sermonette by Chris Hancock - "Firstfruits - Baked With Leaven" (given Bristol UK Pcost 4 June 2006) (1.5Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
The Grain Sacrifice given at Pentecost was unique, in that it was baked with leaven - showing we are not sinless as are those offerings given to represent Christ. The important thing we therefore have to keep in mind as Firstfruits to God, is that it must be God, not ourselves, that builds what is holy within us.
- Sermon by Jon Bowles - "Our Most Valuable Possession" (given Bristol UK Pcost 4 June 2006) (10.2Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
What would you say is your most precious possession? For those who are truly being converted, it has to be our relationship with God. Five points are covered in the sermon: What we have today was not always the case; Even today, the world remains blinded; We have been given a new and living way; We are to pray Our Father; Vital for the End Time.
Pentecost 2006: Afternoon:
- Sermonette by Andrew Munro - "Offering" (given Bristol UK Pcost 4 June 2006) (1.6Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
Giving an offering to God must be done with the correct attitude of mind. We have been given several examples within scripture of offerings given from very different hearts. Ananias and Sapphira were certainly on such example, as was the offering of Abraham - both at opposite ends of the scale.
- Offering Music by Paula Henderson - "From Ps 128 - Blessed is a Man Fearing the Eternal" (sung Bristol UK Pcost 4 June 2006) (0.4Mb)

This meaning of the day sermon for Pentecost - the Day of Firstfruits - stresses the incredible fact that we are being harvested by God Himself. God is creating within His people, His Holy Righteous Character, and pictures this present Church Age stage of the process as the first harvest. The question is, is the fruit in our lives bountiful?

rm download mp3 download stream
This sermonette reviews the events of the Exodus - and how it was God's power that delivered them. The same is true for us today - the strength through the Holy Spirit, delivers us from impossible situations through the clear hand of God. But we must allow God do do so His Way and according to His timing.
- Sermon by Jon Pippy - "A Time of Transformation" (given Peterborough Canada Pentecost - 12 June 2005) (9.5Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
This sermon shows how ordinary people - like us - have been used by God to accomplish His extraordinary purpose throughout history. But it is not about God's capability, but about our availability, spiritually speaking. Are we prepared for God's power to work through us? We must indeed recognise, that we are right now in "a time of transformation" - that can only be made if we correctly yield to God's Holy Spirit.
Pentecost 2005 Afternoon - UK:

It also stresses how we need to plan for our offerings - so we can also follow the instructions found in the following verse: "to give as we are able."
- Offering Music - "Psalm 50 - Zion Perfection of Beauty" (performed Bristol UK Pentecost - 12 June 2005) (0.2Mb)
rm download mp3 download stream
- Sermon by Jon Bowles - "Meaning of Pentecost" (given Bristol UK Pentecost - 12 June 2005) (10.5Mb)

This sermon shows how the early Church kept Pentecost "with one accord (Grk:passion)" in Acts 2:1. But the contrasts with today is marked. There is probably more controversy over when this day should be kept - than any other holy-day. But it becomes clear when you apply God's Spirit in the right way; Recognise the spiritual seasons; Recognise the need for rain in due season; And ask whether we are individually preparing as we should - to fulfil our role as Firstfruits.

This sermon shows the incredible contrast between how David viewed God and the things of God - and the view of King Saul. For David, his entire focus was on God and his Way - even though he committed horrendous sins such as his adultery with Bathsheba. But though Saul had the Holy Spirit - he simply was not led by it. This has many things to say to every one of us.

Had God not revealed his Truth, we would be no different from the world. But because of that Truth, we have choices to make. Do we now make such choices based on the roadmap given to us? Or do we still tend to choose the easy way?
