  This Bible Study begins by Mr Armstrong recording a video clip to be used in the Feast Opening Night film. A little of this is missing on this particular recording. He then goes over the scriptures that deal with Zerubbabel's temple and shows how much of this material was actually talking directly to us in 1978 as Mr Armstrong was led to put the Church "back on Track". Such scriptures also talk of the same tasks that we today - in the 21st century - should be concerned with as we are - once again - led individually "back on Track."

  The sermon points out that "one sent" (the meaning of the Greek word "apostle") carries with it many vital things: Such a person was sent by God, not man (Gal 1:1), and sent for a specific reason -- to lay foundations within the Church of God (Eph 2:20). Such foundations imply illumination to the Truth for the first time (Rom 15:20) and must remain after an apostle's death (2Pet 1:15), as they were actually laid by Christ through him -- not by the man himself (1Cor 3:10-11, 4:16).

  So many organisations - formerly part of WCG - try to justify their departure from the faith once delivered by quoting that we must "grow in grace and knowledge" (2Pet 3:18). But they fail to answer the real questions: Who does God indicate has the right to place Truth in His Church? What area must we grow in? What area must we hold fast, as commanded in Rev 3:11.

  In a passage found in John 21 Jesus Christ three times asks Peter if he loves Him, and then each time instructs him to "feed my sheep". But it is only when you go to the original Greek version of the passage that the meaning becomes clear: To adequately feed and shepherd God's sheep requires the very love of God Himself. And that is something we all require.

  The word "cleave" is used in a number of passages in scripture, but what does it mean? And are there lessons in the word for us today? This sermonette explains.

  Even if this world were to continue on for some time, we will all eventually die and come before the judgement seat of Christ (2Cor 5:10). But every indication is that this world is not going to continue very long. For this reason, our "final exams" in life are much nearer.   Two people are mentioned in the context of the place of safety: Noah and Lot. Each were protected by God through the cataclysms that overtook their ages. When you look at the parallels with the end time, the example of Lot, in particular, is very significant indeed.

  There is a warning given to those facing the cataclysm at the end time, "remember Lot's wife" (Luke 17:32) But there is an almost certain maternal reason she looked back.   Begins: "In a way it seems strange to me to be back here in Vancouver, Washington. I lived here for 6 months in 1924..." Mr Armstrong then explains how aged 92 he can no longer read due to poor eyesight. He therefore gives this 2hr sermon without notes or Bible - but shows what God did through him - including his early work in Portland and Vancouver - to fulfil the prophecy of someone, coming in the power and spirit of Elijah, who was to restore all things shortly before Christ returns.
